Lara Mehr Currie is the president and co-founder of
Currie Associates, Inc. She is a veteran of both the trade association
management business and the hazardous materials/dangerous goods transportation
industry. She has over 20 years experience in assisting trade associations
develop and market membership programs, domestic and international meetings and
seminars, creation and management of publications programs and other non-dues
revenue programs. She also serves as the co-administrator for the Council on
Safe Transportation of Hazardous Articles, Inc. (COSTHA) and formerly served as
the Director of Marketing for the American Trucking Associations.
Ms. Currie is listed in Outstanding Young Women
in America; Who’s Who Advertising; Who’s Who of American Women; Who’s Who
Emerging Young Leaders.
She received her B.S. degree in Business
Administration from George Mason University.
